As a passionate advocate for public education, student achievement, and parent engagement, I am not satisfied with the status quo.
Strong partnerships between schools and families lead to better outcomes for students. The TDSB should make it easier for parents to engage and advocate for their children’s needs.

I am seeking to be a Trustee to be an advocate for individual students and families to recieve a high quality education and necessary supports. To hold TDSB staff accountable to achieve to a supportive and enriching learning environment for the students, parents, and educators of TDSB.

Ensuring that existing resources and staff are used efficiently and effectively and advocating for transparency and accountability from the Toronto District School Board as well as the Ministry of Education.
Responsiveness

Building strong partnerships with parents, community organizations, and local businesses to create a collaborative network for the benefit of students and their families.
Accountability

Holding the school and board staff to account and not allowing them to stick to the status quo or path of least resistance. Press for change where warranted by using existing policies or introducing new ones.
